This is the Privacy Policy of the website (the “Website”), made available by Concho Resources Inc. (“Concho,” “we,” or “us”).  It describes the information that we collect from you as part of the normal operation of the Website, and how we use and disclose this information.

1. What Information We Collect

We may collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages Visitors access or visit, and information volunteered by the Visitor.

From Visitors who send e-mail inquiries to Concho or request information through the Investor Relations pages of the Website, certain personal information you provide will be used only for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

We collect information such as name, phone number, email address and desired position from Visitors to the Career pages of the Website (“Applicants”).  We also collect information contained on resumes voluntarily uploaded by Applicants.

We collect information such as name, phone number and email address from Visitors to the Owner and/or Vendor Relations pages of the Website (“Users”).

2. How We Use Your Information

We store and use personal information for many purposes.  The information we collect is used to improve the content of the Website, the quality of our service, and fill open positions within our organization. The information we collect is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission or it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms, or as otherwise required by law.

We do not use your email address or other personal information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent other than Concho’s marketing purposes.  Although our suppliers of web-related services may see your personal information, neither we nor they will send such information to anyone else outside of Concho or its affiliates without your permission.  We may use your name and email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major updates, customer service needs, or items for which you have requested communication).

In exceptionally rare circumstances where national, state or company security is at issue, we reserve the right to share our entire database of visitors and customers with appropriate governmental authorities.

Concho uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Website.  Although Concho and its licensors own the code, databases, and all rights to the Website and any feedback you provide, you retain all rights to your data.

Once Concho receives your information, we make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure its security on our system.  Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot and do not warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.
